E MCP#

The FRAGMENT MCP server lets you use a coding agent to design schemas, simulate funds flows and write code to integrate your app.

a. What you can do

#

The MCP server exposes tools to:

  • Create, update, and validate your chart of accounts and entry types.
  • Simulate your funds flows in scenarios.
  • Guide your implementation with built-in skills for ledger design, accounting and specific use cases.

b. Getting started

#

To create a new MCP Connection:

  1. Open the Dashboard and select the workspace you want to connect.
  2. Open Workspace Settings → MCP.
  3. Click Add and choose your client (Claude, Cursor, Open Code, Codex, or get the raw URL).
  4. Follow the provided instructions to authenticate the connection.

Authorization can be revoked at any time in the MCP tab.

c. Permissions

#
  • Tools and queries are scoped to one workspace
  • Inherits the permissions of the user creating the connection.
  • Read & Write permissions are enforced on tool calls.
